GOOD WOOD YYC

Custom Woodwork, Custom Web

Services: Web Design · Branding · Graphic Design · Social Media Management

Good Wood is a Calgary-based carpentry business specializing in custom furniture, kitchens, cabinetry, and more. With a deep passion for woodwork and a commitment to excellence, their team brings handcrafted visions to life through beautifully bespoke projects that blend functionality and artistry.

As their business continued to grow, they knew they needed a refreshed digital presence—one that showcased their full range of capabilities and elevated their brand for the next chapter.

PROBLEM

Good Wood came to VOX with an outdated brand and a barebones website. Their legacy logo and graphic assets were too dated to hold up to today’s design standards, and their site lacked any visual portfolio—no photos, no project breakdowns, no inspiration for prospective clients. They also had a tight deadline, needing a full overhaul delivered fast.

SOLUTION

We reimagined Good Wood’s brand, taking inspiration from their original logo to create a modern, elevated identity that still honored their roots. From there, we redesigned their website to function as a true showcase—highlighting both individual bespoke pieces and large-scale multi-unit projects, demonstrating their full range of skills and craftsmanship.

We also developed a flexible social media framework to help the client share new materials, finished builds, and availability updates with ease. With this system, Good Wood now has the tools to inspire, inform, and attract new clients online.

Despite the tight deadline, we delivered the full rebrand and site launch with time to spare—leaving the client thrilled and ready to scale.
