Landscape Supply Warehouse is a family-owned business in NE Calgary that offers wholesale pricing on landscaping materials. Known for their friendly, knowledgeable team and convenient hours, LSW wanted to grow beyond their physical location and build a strong online presence—one that could help customers calculate material needs, place orders, and schedule deliveries with ease.
PROBLEM
As a brand-new company, LSW came to VOX without an existing identity, website, or visual assets. They had a rough idea of a desired colour palette—red, brown, and earthy tones—but no established branding, design direction, or digital tools. They needed a full design system from the ground up that captured their values and connected with customers online and offline.
SOLUTION
VOX had the pleasure of creating LSW’s brand from scratch. We began with a custom logo inspired by the textures and forms of landscaping materials—something the client was thrilled to see represented. The brand’s earth-toned colour palette helped root the visuals in their physical environment and product offerings.
From there, we created a set of business cards featuring an embossed backing to reflect the tactile materials at the heart of the business. A custom QR code mirrored the stone mosaic in the logo design, tying everything together in a cohesive, thoughtful way. We also produced informational mailers and printed marketing collateral to drive traffic to their new site.
On the digital side, we built a user-friendly website where customers can explore materials, calculate needs, and schedule deliveries. We captured product photography onsite to make sure the site reflected the real inventory LSW offers. And to bring a little joy to the online experience, we animated the logo—showing the rocks cascading into place to form the final emblem.
